Mervv’s inaugural solo EP, "Exclusive Technology", comes as a follow-up to his contributions to the Hoodoo "Night Rites" compilation EP.

“Exclusive Technology” is a purist's techno record - a three track EP of thoughtful, dramatic restraint; the lifeblood of Detroit minimalism pulsing within - and a strong statement of Mervv’s production calibre.

All three are spacial, groove-driven tracks for the cultured djs that find room in their sets for collective thought. Simple arrangements that allow carefully constructed complex sounds to shine through.

Mervv's live set is one of the brightest grooves around on the Chinese techno scene. The tracks are intelligently assembled to provide a rhythmic, purposeful passage from start to finish. A journey of enigmatic, minimalistic Chicago and Detroit inspired house and techno, each track inviting the next, more akin to a DJ set than a typical man+machine live performance.
